Impressions of our weekend away with our camper Billie. Where? Kumamoto Prefecture.

Yappari, somewhere in Kyushu.

Yappari, somewhere in Kyushu.

Yappari, met our customers at the airport and 1 hour later,
after explaining all the systems: On their way! Let the adventure begin!

Scenery you may encounter in May.

Yappari in Kyushu: It's just You, the Beach and the Campervan.

If you missed the "Pink Wave" currently sweeping through Kyushu, you are not alone—we could have booked our entire fleet of campervans three times over. However, the region will be transformed again in a few months as the autumn colors arrive. With red and yellow foliage and perfect weather, it is truly the best time to explore the area by campervan

Campervan adventure in Japan, part 59

Yappari, our Pick-up and Drop-off location at Fukuoka International Terminal.

Way to Go

Memories of our winter camper trip..... yappari, time for a coffee break. Location? Somewhere along the Kuma River, in Kagoshima.

Yappari, our Tiny Mighty in winter Mode. Equiped with winter tires and heater, she is going where she wants to go.

News Flash: One of our campervans reported to us from Amami Ìshima :
The Pink Wave is gearing up. (btw, it's indeed possible to take our campervan to distant islands...
but be aware of the ferry fees.)

Oh well, look where our Campervan Trip in Kyushu took us that day. Kitsuki Castle and city in Oita Prefecture. Hum...where is everybody?

Despite this tree tries to, there ain't no twist in the plot: Spring is coming! Have you booked yet?

Yes, this too ! Or should I say this IS the magic of exploring rural Kyushu by campervan. So peaceful. By the way, plum blossoms are popping at the moment.

Hinamatsuri, aka Girls Festival. It is on 3-3 day, March 3rd. Time of the year these doll sets come out for display.
One of the nice features about Japan:
Traditions are kept.

Maybe not for everybody, but for me..... # 1. Natto & quail raw egg sushi.
At our favorite sushi bar.
