Visiting Mt Aso on that day the weather and the volcano were treating us to an unforgettable experience.

Kumamoto Castle showing off its best during a light & sound show this season. The castle was badly damaged a few years ago but stone by stone it has been repaired. Awesome job.

First signs and colors of autumn are showing up.
Best time to explore Kyushu.

Discoverings you make when you take the less traveld road.
Rental campervan, way to go.

Settling in for the night.
Tomorrow an other exciting day of exploring Kyushu.

Who agrees exploring Kyushu is stricking gold?

It's gonna happen, sooner or later.
And no, this isn't Kyoto. Just somewhere in tranquil Kyushu.

At rest RV parking Aburayama in Fukuoka.

Takachiho Gorge.
It's on most customer's bucket-list.
Taking your campervan down there is a bit of a trick though.
Ask for details.

Campervan REGISTRO chilling at one of the many free P in Kyushu.
Please remember, these parkings are not camp-grounds,
so no outdoor bbq etc.

Happily " getting lost " while hiking in central Kyushu.

Flasback to that day we joined an e-bike cycling tour UP and down  Mt Aso.

Campervan adventure in Japan, part 53

Yappari campervan, way to go and explore.

Thinking about a trip in Kyushu this autumn...?

What's up Billie Bee Bus? Suddenly we found ourselves parked at this festive P. The locals are getting ready for Bon odori. (What Google says: community dances held during Obon, which is observed in either July or August, is a uniquely Japanese custom that combines historical influences and religious practices)

Well, come to Kyushu if you appreciate some open space.

Waiting at Kagoshima Airport for our customers to arrive for their 1-way rental. Way to go. (start Kagoshima, finish Fukuoka).

Street View while driving around the Less Traveled route.
Could it be more Japanese?
Magic!

And then suddenly you discover a gem like this .... Kyushu camper rental, way to go.

We took our own camper for a spin around central Honshu. See us here a picture stop at: https://hs-whiteroad.jp/en/ It's a bit far from Fukuoka, but this destination would suit a 1-way rental.

One of our campers enjoying the beauty of Ms Aso National Park.

July and August can be hot in Kysuhu. And all of Japan. Fortunately, there are plenty of beaches and mountains to find some cooling.

Yappari, see here budget campervan REGISTRO. Suitable for 2 adults. And according to Marijke: Drives like a charm.
